It is imperative that Eye care injuries are deal with properly and efficiently and these products can make a vital sight saving difference.

The new Health & Safety ( First Aid ) Regulations state :

“ where mains tap water is not readily available for eye irrigation, at least a litre of sterile water or saline ( 0.6 % ) in sealed , disposable containers should be provided. Once the seal has been broken, the containers should not be kept for re-use. The container should not be used after the expiry date.
