This assessment would allow both the organiser and R.M.S Ltd the opportunity to discuss the need for any abnormal equipment that may be required e.g. for water or mud rescue. This would also include a check for emergency access and route planning not only to ensure the best and quickest route to the nearest hospital or specialist unit but also to check for the unusual? (things that never appear on road maps like road works, one way streets, and even roads that have been closed especially for your event!
